Lap of Lights Event Terms & Privacy Notice Addendum

General

This Lap of Lights Event Addendum (“Addendum”) applies to all users who join or participate in the Lap of Lights event (“Event”) within the ReadySet mobile application during the period 11th of December 2025 through 4th of January 2026.

This Addendum supplements and forms part of the ReadySet Terms of Service and ReadySet Privacy Policy. By participating in the Event, you agree to be bound by this Addendum in addition to the ReadySet Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If any provision in this Addendum conflicts with the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, this Addendum shall govern for the duration and scope of the Event.

1. Parties and Roles

For the purposes of delivering the Lap of Lights Event:

  • ADI UK Ltd acts as the Data Controller for all personal data processed during the Event.
  • HVNT Entertainment AB (ReadySet) acts as the Data Processor on behalf of ADI.
  • Silverstone Circuits Limited is the event partner who may be receiving aggregated insights, gameplay statistics, and user-generated content where consent is given.

2. Definition of Silverstone’s Partners

For the purposes of this Addendum, the term:

“Silverstone and its partners”
refers exclusively to:

  • Silverstone Circuits Limited
  • ADI UK Ltd
  • HVNT Entertainment AB (ReadySet)

No other third parties are included in this definition.

3. Data Collected During the Event

During the Lap of Lights Event, ReadySet may process the following categories of personal data on behalf of ADI:

  • Nicknames or display names
  • Event interactions (checkpoints visited, missions completed)
  • Photos or content you upload within the app
  • Optional in-game text input (e.g., trivia answers)
  • Device and usage data (device type, operating system, app version)
  • Approximate location data, only as required for gameplay
  • Time-stamped event activity logs

No payment data is collected or processed by ReadySet during this Event.

4. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Operating, managing and delivering the Event experience
  • Providing Event analytics to ADI and Silverstone
  • Safety, integrity and technical performance of the ReadySet app
  • Enhancing gameplay and user experience
  • (Optional) Promotion and marketing, only if you provide consent (see Section 6)

5. Data Sharing for Event Operations

ReadySet may share Event insights, gameplay analytics, and user-generated content only with:

  • ADI UK Ltd (Controller)
  • Silverstone Circuits Limited (Event partner)

This sharing is strictly for Event operation, measurement, and post-Event reporting.

ReadySet does not sell personal data or share it with unrelated third parties.

6. Optional Consent for Content Usage

You may choose to give ReadySet, ADI, and Silverstone permission to use the photos or content you upload during the Event for promotional and marketing purposes.

This includes:

  • Social media posts
  • Event highlight reels or recap videos
  • Digital or printed marketing materials
  • ReadySet, ADI, or Silverstone websites and communication channels

This consent is entirely optional and not required to participate in the Event.

If you do not provide consent, your content will only be used internally for gameplay and Event operations.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting ReadySet at:
support@playreadyset.com

Withdrawal will not affect any content already published prior to withdrawal.

7. Retention Period

All Event-related personal data processed by ReadySet will be:

  • retained for up to 90 days, then
  • securely deleted or anonymised, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

User-generated content used for promotional or marketing purposes may be retained indefinitely or until consent is withdrawn.

8. Safety and Conduct

By participating in the Event, you agree:

  • to be aware of your surroundings while playing,
  • not to enter restricted areas or unsafe locations,
  • to comply with all local venue rules and instructions,
  • not to upload unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

9. Eligibility

The Event is intended for individuals who meet the age requirements set by Silverstone for event attendance. Minors must have guardian approval unless otherwise permitted by local law.

11. Acceptance

By checking the acceptance box during Event signup, you confirm that:

  • You have read and accept this Lap of Lights Event Addendum.
  • You understand how your data will be used during the Event.
  • You understand that consent for marketing use is optional and separate.
